Personal, symbolic ceremonies written around your story: on a clifftop, a vineyard, a village square or a quiet beach in Cyprus.
Plan a weddingCalm, unhurried support to create a ceremony that honours a whole life: religious, non-religious or somewhere in between.
Arrange a farewellEvery ceremony is written from scratch. No templates, no two the same.
I am here to stand beside couples on the happiest day of their lives, and beside families on the hardest. Both ask the same thing of me: listen properly, then find the right words.
Originally from the U.K., I have lived in Cyprus since 2001. During that time I have got married and had two wonderful children.
After 27 years of working in Theatre and Entertainment and many summers of singing at weddings, I trained in the U.K. as a professional Celebrant. I have a genuine interest in people and love to find out all their stories.
I wanted to choose a career that involved being with people, and listening to their stories. I am delighted to offer my services to you as a professional Celebrant. I've worked at venues all over the island. Whether you're Cypriot, an expat who has made Cyprus home, or flying in for a destination wedding, I'll make the day feel personal and run without a hitch.
Registered with the Fellowship of Professional CelebrantsI am a fully trained celebrant and a member of the FPC, the largest organisation of independent celebrants in the UK and Europe. Find out more about the Fellowship ›
We meet (in person or on video), I get to know you both, and I write a ceremony around your story: how you met, what you promise, the people who matter. You approve every word before the day.
Just the two of you (and a photographer if you wish… or just give me a camera). A short, heartfelt ceremony at a hidden spot: sunrise at the Akamas, a quiet cove, a mountain village.
Fully bespoke ceremony for any size of wedding. Two planning meetings, your story written in full, Souvenir Wedding Certificate, rehearsal, and a keepsake copy of your ceremony.
A hand-crafted ceremony for up to ten people in attendance. Intimate and beautiful.

When someone dies, there's a lot to decide very quickly. I'll sit with you, hear the stories, and shape them into a ceremony that's honest, warm and true to the person, while handling the timings with the funeral director so you don't have to.
A fully written service at a cemetery, crematorium, venue or home. Family meeting, eulogy written with you, support for family speakers, music and readings, and a printed copy afterwards.

“Matthew, thank you for making our wedding day so beautiful and unforgettable. We truly appreciate all your hard work and dedication. We are so grateful for everything you did to make our special day perfect. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
George 💞 Victoria · WeddingThe legal registration is done by the municipal Marriage Officer. A celebrant ceremony is symbolic, so most couples complete the short civil formality at the town hall and have their personal ceremony with me, on the same day or separately.
Yes. You're free to choose who leads the ceremony. Just let your funeral director know, and I'll coordinate timings and arrangements with them directly.
